Kyrgyz software and downloads

Tamga

  • a text editor with a Kyrgyz spelling checker
  • a spell-checking add-on for MS Word (works on 97 and 2000, I haven't tried it yet on later versions)
  • Kyrgyz fonts and keyboard layout
  • a hyphenation module for Windows

Kyrgyz fonts

Five different Kyrgyz fonts (four are PT154-compatible) and two keyboard layouts

When I last checked the Tamga website (11 June 2005) all download links were dead. This often happens with websites that use free hosting, so if any of these links do not work, please leave a comment here with your e-mail address and I may be able to send you a working link or the file itself.

Hi there,

I'm looking for a Kyrgyz language course in English. I tried your links to the ERIC Database, but they were dead as someone else commented before. Could you possibly help me further? My e-mail is oluvandenbussche@yahoo.com.

Many thanks in advance

Olu

Hi there!

Since I want to learn the Kyrgyz language, I would be happy I you could help me by sending a working link or the file itself ( tiberitzky@gmail.com ). The links stated above are all dead.
Thank you very much!

Tiber

I got a new computer since posting this message, and so I'm not sure if I still have the files mentioned. I will check as soon as I have a free minute, and if I find anything, I will upload the files somewhere and post the link (with an email notice to all those who commented here).

Thank you for your patience!
